MCG
Today i went to MCG to watch footy with my friends. Because Benjamin promised me he would give me some free tickets to watch the match.
Before the match, a function was held to introduce Australia football to Chinese. I hadn't seen Benjamin since his band had a tour in Nanjing, and he today dressed very gentle and a big smile was on his face. His Mandarin improved a lot. The function was proceeding very well and some surprise appeared when the "mascot"came to the scene and arouse much cheer, the red lucky thing was a bit cute. Actually afterwards one of the members of the team Melbourne showed and was taken photos together by most of the students.
After the function we went to watch the competition, which was appreciated by more than 35,000 people. The attendance was astounding but finally i found that the team Melbourne was a younger team and their performance made a lot of present persons disappointed. However, the footy was exciting and a little violent and fierce, the players use a lot of body collide; they can both kick with feet and throw with hands; there are four poles at each team's goal...During the match, Benjamin sat beside me for minutes and we had a short chat about the rules and our respective life.
After the match, Larry suggested that we could go to Toorak to have a buffet dinner, sort of Chinese hotpot. We five persons went there and stuffed with a lot of spicy food, which made me "shit jet" the last second i rushed into my toilet.
