a fantastic day
To tell the truth, i have never gotten up so early as today because there was a morning class. As soon as i arrived at my class, Patrick told me to firstly give my oral presentation. A little hurry, cause i didn't prepare it very well last night. But finally i made it. i have learned to be totally with confidence.
After the class, Andy came to class very late and Jenny, him and I decided to go shopping because Andy and I want to buy quilts. We went to Stu Park and searched in a few shopping centres looking for suitable quilts. Finally i bought one at the price of 30$. Pretty cheap.
Afterwards, Jenny and I visited to Andy's house. In the house he rents there is also a local man called Bradie living there. He is very handsome at the first glance. Andy told me that he is major in music and can play the piano very well. I feel envious of him but that is the only thing i can do. He might be talented, but as for me, art is just a dream. Actually that buddy is very kindly and we all have a good sense for him.
Brooks once told me that Maggie would come to our house for dinner. She would cut hair for us. Sounds technical. Actually 6 persons had dinner together. Besides we three, Charles, Maggie and Andy joined in. We had a bright and happy dinner this afternoon. An amazing thing happened afterwards was that Maggie cut hairs for me, Charles and Brooks. It was really an interesting experience to make my hair cut by an apprentice. But Maggie didn't let me down. My hair style was improved even though during the cutting process i suffered from a little pain and embarrassment. But Brooks and Charles might not be so fortunate, their hairs are probably messed up looking very funny.
I checked in the calendar that it was the Father's Day yesterday; and tomorrow is the Dragon Boat Festival which is in memory of Qu Yuan. Sometimes i am not prone to think up these festivals. But staying abroad, these festivals remind me of Chinese culture and Chinese customs.
At night my mother called me and asked me about my daily life. i replied with embarrassment and shame cause for about two months i have used about 23000 RMB. I really feel guilty and so sorry for my parents...
I was informed also that in Melbourne City there was a gun case a few hours ago. Sounds really dangerous and horrible. While in China, i have no need to think about robbing or shooting. i want to say that sentence again: Australia is just so so...
